Job summary

Stellarus seeks an experienced executive to lead Product Security across its commercial products, platforms, and services. The Vice President will shape strategy, governance, and an operating model to protect customer data while enabling innovation.

This leader partners with Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal to build secure-by-design capabilities scaling across healthcare tech ecosystems, overseeing product security engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps, vulnerability

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or 18+ years of experience in lieu).
• 12+ years in information security, cybersecurity, product security, or related disciplines with enterprise-scale programs.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing managers or large security organizations.
• One industry-standard certification (CISSP, CISM or CCSP).
• Proven experience in scale, complex, regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in SSDLC, app security, DevSecOps, cloud & API security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, containers, and platform engineering.
• Experience with NIST CSF/SSDF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2, OWASP.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and investments.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise Product Security strategy and governance.
• Lead security engineering across product security, cloud security, DevSecOps, and governance programs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal leaders.
• Translate business strategy into actionable security roadmaps and budgets.
