Stellarus seeks an accomplished security executive to lead its Commercial Product Security organization. The VP will shape enterprise security strategy, governance, and operating models to protect Stellarus products, customer data, and digital ecosystems while enabling growth.

The role partners with Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal to build secure-by-design capabilities across a healthcare technology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 12+ years of information security/product security experience with enterprise-scale programs.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing managers or large security teams.
• At least one industry certification e.g., CISSP, CISM or CCSP.
• Proven executive leadership in scaling enterprise Product Security programs in regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in SSDLC, application security, DevSecOps, cloud security, API security, and software supply chain security.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, code analysis, and secure architecture review.
• Experience securing customer-facing products and cloud-native apps.
• Ability to translate business strategy into security roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Strong financial and operational acumen including budgets and investments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with executive presence.
• Experience collaborating with executives, boards, customers, regulators, and auditors.

Responsabilités

• Establish and execute the enterprise product security vision, multi-year roadmap, and governance aligned with business objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing security organization focused on engineering excellence and measurable risk reduction.
• Embed security requirements into the product development lifecycle across domains.
• Drive secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices across products, APIs, and cloud services.
• Define and govern technical security requirements across authentication, data protection, and access controls.
• Oversee application, cloud security, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management programs.
• Establish cloud-native security standards for IaC, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive security automation across the software delivery lifecycle, including SBOMs and policy-as-code.
• Lead security assessments for new products, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop enterprise-wide security metrics and executive dashboards for risk posture and maturity.
• Collaborate with Legal/Privacy/Risk to ensure regulatory alignment and industry standards.
• Champion automation and continuous monitoring to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Represent Product Security in executive forums, customer engagements, and industry events.
