Job summary

Mainspring Energy seeks a Vice President of Industrialization to define and lead end-to-end industrialization, ensuring products transition from development through production launch, scale, and lifecycle support.

This leader will oversee NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Test Engineering, ECM, PLM, and related functions, partnering across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to enable scalable production growth.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical engineering or related field.
15+ years in manufacturing, NPI, industrialization, or production engineering.
10+ years leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.
Proven success launching complex electromechanical products from development to volume production.
Experience with capital investment strategies and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

Lead industrialization strategy from prototype through volume production.
Collaborate with executive leadership on capacity planning and capital investments.
Build and mentor leaders across NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and ECM.
Own industrialization performance metrics and drive cost, scrap reduction, and efficiency gains.
Establish manufacturing readiness processes and launch governance.
Partner with Product Engineering on DFM/ DFA/ DFT initiatives.
Drive cross-functional execution to meet quality, cost, schedule, and performance.
