Job summary

Freedom Mortgage seeks a Vice President to lead the HELOC Servicing Program, overseeing end-to-end servicing lifecycle including boarding, servicing, default management, loss mitigation and payoff.

This role partners with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Product and external vendors to ensure governance, performance, and regulatory alignment while driving cross-functional improvements to customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mortgage/consumer loan servicing experience, including at least 5 years of direct HELOC servicing leadership and cross-functional leadership.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HELOC products and end-to-end servicing lifecycle including boarding, servicing, payments, delinquency, loss mitigation and liquidation.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing operations, regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and business controls.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Technology, Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance and external partners.
• Experience with servicing system implementations, portfolio acquisitions, and servicing transfers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and deadlines.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to translate requirements into operational processes.
• Excellent verbal, written, and executive communication skills with ability to influence without direct authority.
• Facilitation and relationship-management skills for cross-functional workgroups.
• Experience with operational readiness, change management, and training.
• Experience with ICE MSP (formerly Black Knight MSP) and HELOC/consumer servicing functionality preferred.
• Experience supporting diverse HELOC products, portfolios, and servicing relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end program leadership and governance for HELOC servicing across the lifecycle.
• Serve as the business lead for the HELOC servicing program, coordinating across functional areas.
• Maintain an integrated view of HELOC requirements, decisions, dependencies, risks, readiness, and performance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations to define requirements and implement servicing solutions.
• Establish and maintain the HELOC servicing operating model with governance, rules, handoffs, and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordinate servicing enhancements, product and system changes, and new requirements.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of HELOC policies, procedures, and business controls.
• Lead organizational and operational readiness including staffing, communications, training, and change management.
• Serve as primary cross-functional liaison with vendors and strategic partners.
• Coordinate ongoing servicing enhancements following launch.
• Provide program coordination across key HELOC servicing capabilities including: loan boarding/transfers, servicing rules, payments, rates, escrow, customer care, delinquency, and reporting.
