Job summary

Akima, LLC, a leading federal contractor, seeks a strategic Vice President of Growth Operations to orchestrate proposal operations, GWAC/IDIQ CoE, and sales enablement across a federated organization. The role will unify processes, data, and governance to accelerate win rates and drive disciplined growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Federal business development and a track record of leading high-volume proposals, with deep FAR and procurement knowledge.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in Federal growth and proposals.
• Proven ability to lead a multi-speed, matrixed growth organization.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, GWACs, IDIQs, and federal procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Akima’s enterprise Growth Operations across Proposal Ops, GWAC/IDIQ CoE, Growth Operations, and Sales Enablement.
• Steward and improve the enterprise sales process, win plans, and qualification standards and gate reviews.
• Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer to promote disciplined pursuit investments and company-wide prioritization.
• Oversee proposal operations including management, writing, staffing, scheduling, and color-team reviews.
• Ensure compliant, compelling submissions by integrating BD, capture, operations, pricing, contracts, and finance.
• Develop scalable growth processes and governance across the growth workforce.
