Job summary

Akima, LLC seeks a strategic Vice President, Growth Operations to lead and optimize the enterprise infrastructure for identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and winning business. You will integrate people, processes, governance, systems, data, and contracts to enhance growth lifecycle efficiency.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role oversees Proposal Operations, GWAC/IDIQ CoE, Sales Enablement, and Growth Operations, guiding high‑volume federal pursuits and multi‑group collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive experience in Federal business development, capture, proposal management, growth operations, or related functions.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary growth organization with matrixed teams.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, agency supplements, and procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Akima’s enterprise Growth Operations organization across Proposal Ops, CoE, Growth Ops, and Sales Enablement.
• Steward the company’s enterprise sales process and qualification standards.
• Drive compliant, high‑quality competitive proposals and milestone reviews.
