Job summary

EverPeak Insurance seeks a VP & GM of Workers’ Comp to oversee profitability and growth across WC programs, using traditional and innovative underwriting methods. You’ll guide premium audit teams and underwriting groups, shaping a modern, tech-forward culture and scalable solutions. This role reports to the President.

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with standard hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with some flexibility at management’s discretion.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive leadership in insurance, with 7+ years in national Workers' Compensation underwriting.
• California Workers’ Compensation experience required.
• Proven ability to lead underwriting program management at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve EverPeak’s underwriting strategy across lines and programs.
• Cultivate relationships with carriers, reinsurers, and partners.
• Develop growth strategies with Sales while maintaining profitability.
• Oversee books of business and achieve financial and customer objectives.
• Ensure underwriting guidelines align with goals and regulatory standards.
• Monitor claims activity and identify adverse trends for pricing.
• Lead audit teams and promote continuous process improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process innovation to improve customer experience.
• Stay current on tools and analytics; collaborate with Product and Engineering.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to evaluate new product opportunities.
