Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Vice President, People to drive the business forward through a strong people strategy and trusted advisory to the executive leadership team. You will lead the People Business Partner organization, own enterprise workforce planning, and guide HR strategy for Lyft's growth and M&A activity.

You'll report to the Chief People Officer, shape org design, and ensure scalable people programs across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience at VP or Head of People level.
• Ownership of HR diligence and integration for M&A, including cross-border or multi-entity.
• Proven strategic workforce planning in partnership with Finance.
• Experience in tech, public company or growth/marketplace contexts preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief People Officer and executive team on people strategy for major business decisions.
• Lead the People Business Partner function across Lyft's global footprint, shaping org design and leadership pipelines.
• Oversee M&A human capital workstreams, due diligence, retention-risk assessment and Day 1 readiness.
• Own enterprise workforce planning with Finance and drive analytics for talent investment globally.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and Legal to enable scalable people programs.
• Develop and coach a high-performing People team to deliver strategic impact.
