Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years progressive experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards including U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience managing accounting operations for multiple entities, including international subsidiaries.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and respond to various stakeholders needs.
• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Yardi).
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive worker who can work independently and resourcefully.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month‑end and year‑end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing accounting team, ensuring strong collaboration and efficiency.
• Oversee tax compliance and reporting for new international entities, coordinating with external advisors as required.
• Lead the completion of the Annual Audited Financial Statements
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS, as needed.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk while collaborating with internal and external auditors.
• Work cross‑functionally with other departments (Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, etc.) and assist in any ad‑hoc requests from management or other departments.
• Conduct other tasks in the effective running of the business and future growth initiatives.
• Assist in ERP system optimization and implementation to support multi‑currency and international reporting requirements.
• Represent JP Morgan Natural Capital at all levels while maintaining positive public relations.
