Job summary

JP Morgan Natural Capital, based in Portland, Oregon, seeks an experienced Controller to oversee daily accounting and financial reporting for global portfolios. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, incl. 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience managing accounting operations for multiple entities, incl. international subsidiaries.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholders.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close for accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Oversee tax compliance and reporting for new international entities with external advisors.
• Lead completion of the Annual Audited Financial Statements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS as needed.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and collaborate with auditors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, etc.
• Support ERP optimization for multi-currency and international reporting.
• Represent JP Morgan Natural Capital publicly and professionally.
