Job summary

Stord seeks an accomplished leader to steer its nationwide omni-channel fulfillment network. You will drive operational excellence, establish best practices across all facilities, and foster a culture of safety and quality.

You will own the P&L for the fulfillment network, push for continuous cost savings, ensure SLA excellence, and plan labor for peak periods while partnering with Solutions, Implementations, and Transport teams on new launches and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in FC and/or DC Operations leadership
• At least 5 years of direct experience in multi-facility fulfillment center management positions with P&L responsibility
• Extensive customer fulfillment, warehousing, and materials handling experience
• Talent for lean systems thinking
• Comprehensive knowledge of business operations
• Strategic planning skills
• Experience providing leadership, direction, and coaching to FC leadership teams
• Experience assisting with planning, budgeting, financial, and mergers and acquisitions decisions
• Experience reinforcing safety principles throughout operations and facilities
• Experience driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, service, productivity, and operating costs
• Ability to develop and nurture cross-functional relationships with internal teams and supplier partners
• Experience managing and monitoring FC metrics
• Proven track record of consistently delivering on KPIs
• Experience analyzing metrics and making data-driven decisions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Stord’s nationwide network of omni-channel fulfillment centers
• Build a culture based on safety and quality
• Establish and maintain operational best practices across all Stord-operated facilities
• Own operational excellence for the fulfillment network
• Develop and implement cost-savings initiatives
• Own the comprehensive P&L for the fulfillment network
• Deliver world-class SLA compliance across a broad omni-channel customer base
• Plan labor comprehensively across all facilities
• Plan for peak season operations
• Collaborate with Solutions, Implementations, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, and other teams on new customer launches and ongoing operations
• Implement and standardize best practices network-wide
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings
• Manage and develop regional directors of fulfillment
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to FC leadership teams
• Support Executive team planning, budgeting, financial, and mergers and acquisitions decisions
• Manage and monitor fulfillment center metrics and operational checks and balances
