Job summary

Citi is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst and Product Manager for its Fixed Income - Spread Products (SP) Technology team in New York. You will partner with business and operations to lead end-to-end flow on lending transactions and guide development across multiple regions.

This role balances technical and business acumen, offering exposure to global financing, securitization, and wholesale credit risk processes while driving automation and governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of business analysis or systems analysis experience.
• Experience presenting and using planning tools.
• Diplomatic and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex, high-impact issues and balance conflicting needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders.
• Lead to formulation of strategies/processes for Product Road map, Development and Governance and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives.
• Develop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers.
• Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.
• Work among a team of committed individuals to solicit and document detailed and thorough system and function requirements (BRD) including various workflows to enhance business technology platform.
• Transition requirements to QA teams across multiple global regions and assist in identifying test scenarios and work with business users to execute UAT, conduct business user training and manage technology implementation.
• Deliver material/presentations to Senior Management and application owners and apprise key stakeholders with project health.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
