Job summary

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. seeks an outstanding leader to head Financial Business Services & Financial Systems. You will shape strategy, governance, and data-driven decision-making across shared services, ensuring GAAP compliance and scalable finance operations.

Reporting to the Controller, you will drive transformation, master data governance, and automation initiatives with ERP platforms and finance tech partners. 15+ years in finance leadership and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred and 15+ years progressive finance leadership experience.
• 8+ years leading large finance organizations and extensive Shared Services leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-functional organization of directors, managers, finance professionals, and systems specialists.
• Develop succession plans and leadership capability; coach and mentor staff.
• Drive end-to-end process ownership and excellence with financially impactful processes.
