Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. in the United States seeks a Vice President, Financial Business Services & Financial Systems to lead the enterprise finance shared services and drive strategy, governance, and data-enabled operations across accounting, IT, and regulatory affairs.

The role oversees core finance operations, transformation, master data governance, reporting, automation, and change management to ensure scalable, high-performing finance partnerships that support growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• MBA preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years progressive finance leadership experience.
• 8+ years leading large finance organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy for Financial Business Services and Financial Systems.
• Align finance operations with enterprise objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide executive oversight for enterprise shared services to ensure finance operations meet GAAP and governance standards.
• Own the strategy and governance of Finance technology platforms and partner with IT.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives to improve productivity and controls.
• Provide executive leadership for standardized data governance and reporting.
• Partner with CFO, Controller, CIO, and business leaders to optimize performance.
