Job summary

Serco is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the corporate FP&A function, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and support Defense Business Units. The role reports to the NA CFO and collaborates with operations leadership, accounting, tax, and global teams.

The successful candidate will drive strategic planning, annual budgeting, and reporting, leveraging Deltek Costpoint, Oracle EPM, and SAP BPC to deliver data-driven insights and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of combined FP&A, Program Finance and Accounting experience.
• Experience in revenue recognition and EAC review and management.
• Strong background in government contracting incl. CAS, FAR and JTR.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access a plus.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Oracle EPM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial forecasting function with reporting for leadership reviews.
• Oversee the Defense portfolio Program Finance team and support BU programs.
• Form BU/Division strategy and implement plans to meet company goals.
• Manage monthly LBE forecasting and annual budgeting with finance leads.
• Prepare working capital and cash flow analyses.
• Model balance sheets and cash flow projections.
• Provide data-driven insights and ad-hoc reporting.
• Mentor FP&A team and develop organizational capability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and UK group on priorities.
