Job summary

Serco is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the corporate FP&A function. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across Defense Program Finance, coordinating with BU finance leaders and senior operations stakeholders.

The role requires senior-level financial planning experience in government contracting, with strong Excel, Deltek Costpoint and Oracle EPM skills. Based in Herndon, VA, you will report to the NA CFO and mentor a sizable FP&A team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive FP&A/Accounting experience.
• Thirteen to fifteen years in FP&A/Program Finance roles in government contracting is preferred.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams and complex budgeting processes.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/CAS/JTR and government contracting controls.
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, Oracle EPM and SAP BPC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and budgeting across multiple programs and BU’s.
• Oversee a team of FP&A and program finance professionals.
• Develop strategic plans and annual budgeting cycles.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting and reporting for executive reviews.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
