Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a hands-on Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the corporate FP&A function, budgeting, and forecasting.

This role partners with operations leadership and reports to the NA CFO, based in Herndon, VA, guiding a multi‑discipline finance team and delivering data‑driven insights for strategic growth. Qualifications

• United States citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty or equivalent with 15+ years FP&A, Program Finance, and Accounting experience.
• Or a Master’s degree with 13+ years combined experience in FP&A, Program Finance and Accounting.
• 10+ years leading and developing teams of 10+ people.
• Experience with government contracting, indirect rate structures, and CAS/FAR/JTR.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; Deltek Costpoint/Oracle EPM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Oversee Defense portfolio Program Finance teams and BU support.
• Develop BU/Division strategy and execution plans.
• Coordinate monthly LBE forecasting and annual budgeting cycles.
• Prepare working capital, cash flow statements, and balance sheet forecasts.
• Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership for decision making.
• Mentor FP&A staff and stakeholders to improve financial tools.
