Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function and partner with the CFO. You will own the operating plan, forecast, long-range model, and translate SaaS performance data into insights for executives, the Board, and investors.

You will build a high-performing team, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and R&D, and drive strategic initiatives including M&A evaluation and integration planning.

Qualifications

• 12+ years progressive finance experience including 5+ years leading FP&A teams.
• Deep SaaS metrics expertise including ARR, churn, and cohort analysis.
• Experience preparing Board and investor reporting in PE-backed environments preferred.
• Hands-on M&A modeling, diligence, and integration planning.
• Strong ERP/CRM and planning tool proficiency; excellent Excel and BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range plan.
• Build ARR, bookings, billings, retention, and churn models; define SaaS metrics.
• Prepare Board materials and investor reporting with clear financial narratives.
• Partner with functional leaders to provide variance analysis and budgeting insights.
• Lead M&A modeling, synergy analysis, and post-close integration tracking.
• Hire, develop, and lead FP&A teams; drive data quality and executive-ready reports.
• Improve planning tools, data pipelines, and reporting automation across systems.
• Deliver rapid analyses on pricing, capital allocation, and unit economics.
