Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a Vice President, CPG Financial Operations to lead day-to-day financial operations for the Physician Group and partner with operational leaders across the enterprise.

In this role you will drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; develop physician compensation models; and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering actionable financial insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance required.
• Master’s degree and/or professional certification (CPA/CPAM/FHFMA) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare finance, physician enterprise operations, reimbursement methods, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee end-to-end financial operations for Children’s Physician Group.
• Lead month-end close, variance analysis, budgeting, pro forma development, and long-range planning.
• Serve as financial partner to CPG operations and leadership; benchmark physician practices.
• Manage physician compensation models and incentive plans; ensure market competitiveness.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and reporting; drive accuracy and timeliness in financial data.
• Collaborate with HR on compensation design and implementation; engage leadership across functions.
• Provide strategic financial insights to guide decisions and optimize profitability.
• Lead budgeting processes, capital planning, and financial forecasting across multi-site operations.
• Oversee financial reporting to internal/external stakeholders and leadership.
