Ascension Search Partners seeks a transformative Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the enterprise FP&A function and elevate planning, performance management, and executive decision support.

The role will standardize KPIs, coordinate budgeting and forecasting across business units, and deliver timely management reporting with clear insights for senior leadership. A seasoned FP&A leader with strong strategic judgment and collaboration skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive finance roles including FP&A.
• Experience leading FP&A in a complex, multi-division organization.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate FP&A function to deliver planning, reporting, and insights.
• Develop and oversee a consistent enterprise KPI framework for definitions, measurement, reporting and accountability.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting across multiple business units; coordinate inputs and align assumptions.
• Provide senior leadership with timely financial analysis, including variance analysis, trends, and forward-looking perspectives.
• Partner with finance and business leaders to align KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and performance expectations.
• Establish standardized FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to improve consistency and scalability.
• Drive data integrity across KPIs, forecasts, and management reporting for reliable decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement across FP&A capabilities and governance.
• Support executive reporting with clear, decision-ready materials.
