LPL Financial is seeking a visionary technology leader to drive modernization and enterprise platforms across Corporate Actions, Class Actions, and Securities Lending. As Vice President, Lead Software Engineer, you will guide multiple engineering teams and influence strategy.

You will champion AI-assisted software development, cloud-native architectures, and DevSecOps, delivering scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale modernization and digital transformation.
• Expertise in cloud, distributed systems, API and microservices, DevSecOps.
• Experience guiding multi-team, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Strong communication of technology strategy to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year roadmaps for key platforms.
• Lead modernization to cloud-native, API-first, event-driven architectures.
• Set standards for scalability, security, observability, and reliability.
• Drive adoption of .NET, Angular, AWS, Kafka, microservices.
• Foster AI-assisted engineering and measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with executives, product, operations, and vendors.
• Oversee engineering excellence including DevSecOps and CI/CD.
