Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights. You will run the company’s planning process from start to finish, own the long-range financial model, and be a trusted partner to the CFO and executive team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, incl. 5+ years leading managers.
• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting in regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience leading or collaborating with a BI or data team for data-driven decisions.
• Experience building, coaching, and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, FP tools, and BI/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of insurance metrics (loss, expense, combined ratios).
• Experience supporting board-level financial reporting, investor relations, and capital/treasury management.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights, aligning work with company goals.
• Run annual plan and long-range financial model from start to finish, with CFO approval.
• Oversee forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to executives.
• Lead strategic finance work including business cases, growth/pricing analysis, scenario planning.
• Oversee business insights, setting standards for reporting and data quality.
• Create and roll out company-wide planning and budgeting practices.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data leaders to connect plans to operations.
• Manage a team of 10 and develop managers and future leaders.
