Job summary

Lyte Fiber seeks a seasoned Vice President of Outside Plant Operations to lead FTTP construction, damage prevention, and plant maintenance across multiple regions. You will steer in-house and partner teams, drive growth plans, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of quality fiber services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of management experience in OSP fiber engineering and construction.
• Experience in underground and aerial engineering and construction.
• Knowledge of permitting and construction in utility easements and rights-of-way.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read BOMs, construction prints, and design documents.
• Proficient with MS Office; ability to use Google Earth KMZ/KML.
• Safety, quality, and regulatory compliance focus.
• Experience managing regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house and partner construction teams for FTTP network projects.
• Develop plans to meet aggressive growth goals (passings, footages).
• Manage multiple projects on time and within budget.
• Build high-performing teams aligned with Lyte Fiber culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in fiber network operations.
• Oversee selection and performance of OSP construction partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulations.
• Develop metrics and vendor scorecards to measure success.
• Prepare budgets and manage costs for OSP operations.
• Collaborate with government and communities during construction.
