Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Vice President Facilities Operations to lead the facilities team in Boston, MA. You will partner with Directors of Facilities and operations stakeholders to ensure sites meet maintenance standards and goals.

With responsibility for environmental, safety, inspections, budgeting, work planning, and contract negotiations, you will coach facilities leaders and manage vendor relationships to drive performance across the WinnResidential portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• More than 10 years of relevant work experience.
• 5–8 years of supervisory/management experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet driving records standards.
• Up to 20–40% travel nationwide with focus on the East Coast.
• Strong written communication to all staff and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement defined strategies and programs to achieve maintenance objectives across the portfolio (resident and owner facing).
• Lead maintenance planning, inventory management, inspections, and preventive maintenance improvements.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders on WinnResidential properties.
• Develop and implement maintenance best practices for the portfolio.
• Oversee budgets, work planning, and contract negotiations with vendors and partners.
• Lead policy/procedure development and ensure adherence through site action plans.
• Foster vendor relationships to improve service levels and value across sites.
