Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking a Vice President, Evergreen Valuation to lead the technology, data, analytics, and control capabilities for Evergreen valuations. You will build a scalable, governed data environment, automate key workflows, and provide analytics to improve valuation attribution and oversight.

The role requires a deep valuation background in private markets, with product ownership, cross-functional leadership, and a focus on data governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in private markets valuation or related field.
• Strong understanding of fair value concepts and NAV processes.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade platforms and governed data environments.
• Ability to apply analytics and AI with governance.
• Cross-functional influence across finance, tech, risk, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Evergreen valuation technology and data.
• Build scalable data governance and gold-copy datasets with ownership and lineage.
• Automate data ingestion, validation, reconciliation, and controls.
• Develop analytics explaining valuation movements and back-testing.
• Partner with valuation teams to standardize data requirements and workflows.
• Own product delivery for Evergreen valuation technology and drive adoption.
