Job summary

HarbourVest, a leading global private markets firm, seeks an experienced valuation professional to join its Evergreen Valuations team. You will contribute to the daily valuation of a diversified portfolio including primary fund investments, secondaries, co-investments, and credit-related assets.

The role collaborates with Fund Accounting, Investment Teams, Portfolio Analytics, Treasury, Risk, and other internal teams to ensure valuations are well-supported, documented, and reviewed.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment valuation for private markets.
• Understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Knowledge of audit considerations in private markets valuations.

Responsibilities

• Daily valuation of investments in evergreen funds with NAV oversight.
• Develop and apply valuation methodologies for private equity, venture capital, private credit, and related assets.
• Maintain controls and documentation around the daily valuation process.
