Job summary
Ares Management is seeking a highly motivated Vice President, AI Platform Engineering to help design, build, and scale the firm's enterprise AI platform and the production-grade AI capabilities that support use cases across the organization. This is a highly hands-on engineering role within the central Data & AI organization.
The VP will design, build, and operate reusable AI platform services and work closely with AI Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Management, Cybersecurity, and business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of professional software, data, ML engineering, or related experience.
- Hands-on with Generative AI, LLM, or AI platform solutions in production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production-grade AI platform services.
- Own major platform components and drive architecture decisions.
- Develop reusable APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling for teams.
- Contribute to platform standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Collaborate with AI engineering, data engineering, product, cybersecurity, and business teams.
