Job summary

BioVeritas seeks a VP of Engineering to guide capital project execution and provide engineering oversight across our biofuels operations. This role owns the full lifecycle from scoping and design through construction and commissioning, partnering with Operations to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

The VP will lead a strategic engineering team, drive facility validation milestones, and support major capital investment decisions while reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; masters preferred.
• 15+ years in progressive engineering roles with capital project responsibility.
• Experience FEED through commissioning in industrial/process settings.
• Hands-on operations exposure and ability to lead EPC teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of capital projects from scoping to commissioning.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and risk registers for executive review.
• Ensure designs deliver safe, reliable plant operations.
• Oversee standards, docs (P&IDs, PFDs, specs) across projects.
• Manage EPC contractors and vendors and coordinate technology licenses.
• Lead FEED studies and feasibility assessments for new projects.
