Job summary

Global Laser Enrichment seeks a VP of Engineering to provide strategic and technical leadership for technology maturation, hardware design, and all engineering activities enabling the commercialization strategy. This senior role reports to the CEO and requires U.S. Q-clearance eligibility.

The position drives design authority for the production facility, ensures safety-by-design, and aligns procurement, testing, and regulatory compliance with project milestones.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in engineering and technology development.
• 8–10 years in a senior leadership role in nuclear/advanced energy.
• Experience with safety-by-design and regulatory baselines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technology maturation from concept to deployable plant.
• Define roadmap and risk register from TRL 6 to 9.
• Lead manufacturability, scale-up, and industrialization.
• Maintain design authority and config management.
• Ensure safety-by-design and regulatory compliance.
• Represent baseline with regulators and investors.
