Job summary

Diamond Generating Corporation seeks an SVP/VP of Engineering & Project Management to lead the Engineering & Project Management group across its generation portfolio, including gas-fired plants, renewables, storage, and grid-scale projects.

Responsibilities include technical oversight, governance, and strategic direction for development, construction, and operation, with responsibility through Commercial Operation and handoff to Asset Management and O&M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required. MS in Engineering or MBA preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
• 15 to 20+ years of progressively responsible experience across technical/engineering and business roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight from a technical perspective in development or acquisition of greenfield or brownfield thermal, renewable and energy storage projects.
• Advise business development and subsidiaries in technical execution.
• Foster intercompany cooperation and eliminate duplication of efforts.
• Lead digitalization strategy and use of new technologies for new business.
• Manage project execution from Financial Close through Commercial Operation.
