Job summary

JPMorgan Chase’s Digital Accessibility team seeks a VP-level Accessibility Lead to guide accessibility across the component library for web and mobile experiences. You will translate standards into practical requirements, drive governance, and partner with product, design, engineering, QA, research, and standards to embed accessibility in reusable components and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead Digital Accessibility advisor for the component library across web and native mobile components, patterns, documentation, and tools.
• Establish accessibility expectations for reusable components, patterns, and platform-specific implementations.
• Translate accessibility standards into actionable design guidance, technical recommendations, test expectations, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead technical discussions and facilitate decisions on complex accessibility questions where standards are incomplete.
• Evaluate component behavior across assistive technologies, browsers, and device settings; support defect triage and release readiness.
• Identify recurring accessibility risks and propose improvements to components, patterns, and delivery practices.
• Partner with accessibility advisors to clarify issues origins and guide modernization of legacy components and adoption of reusable components.
