Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in New York, NY seeks a VP, Technical Services (Data Centers) to provide strategic leadership for critical facilities account management and operations across a global portfolio. You will lead a team of managers and operators, oversee MEP systems, manage client relationships, and drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion.

The role requires 10-15 years in a similar field, a relevant engineering or management degree, and strong risk-based decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing, installing, and commissioning critical electrical/mechanical systems for data centers.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project.
• Excellent interpersonal and executive-level communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-45%.
• LEED/AIA/PE/PMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Critical Facilities Managers and operators to ensure operations.
• Oversee MEP facilities management, vendor relationships, and building maintenance.
• Manage client relationships and project finances across a global portfolio.
• Coordinate office renovation and expansion projects with architects, space planners, MEP/AV consultants, brokers and contractors.
• Oversee monthly billing and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and KPIs to deliver high service quality.
• Travel as needed (20-45%).
