Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks an executive leader to drive two high-growth data center units: Aftermarket and Systems & Controls. You will own lifecycle support for data center installations and expand remote monitoring, diagnostics, and service contracts to accelerate profitability.

The role requires scaling a regional service network, aligning software and hardware product roadmaps, and guiding cross-functional teams through rapid market change.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Business/Finance (MBA or advanced technical degree preferred).
• P&L experience: Proven experience managing a $250M+ business unit or high-growth division.
• Scale & growth: 3+ years launching or scaling a technical service organization or industrial software business.
• General management: 5+ years in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Technical & operational: Familiarity with building automation and industrial controls (DDC/PLC).

Responsibilities

• Provide General Management for Aftermarket and Systems & Controls, guiding them from growth to maturity.
• Mentor teams across software/hardware engineering and field service operations.
• Present combined annual sales, operating, and strategic plans to executives.
• Lead 80/20 initiatives to focus on high-impact service products and software features.
• Oversee P&L for both units and balance R&D with recurring revenue.
• Define GTM strategies and service contracts, including SaaS and remote monitoring.
• Outline 3–5 year roadmaps for network expansions and tech milestones.
• Foster partnerships with third-party software developers and regional service providers.
• Drive cybersecurity, BMS integration, and user-friendly control interfaces.
