Job summary

JLL is seeking a VP, Technical Services (Data Centers) in the United States. You will provide strategic leadership for critical facilities account management, directing a team of managers and operators to maintain essential systems across a global portfolio.

The role covers construction project oversight, vendor relationships, and financial performance with client-facing responsibilities. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate MEP projects, and ensure accurate billing and KPI

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business Management from a four-year college or university; or 10-15 years related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in design, installation, and commissioning of critical electrical and mechanical systems supporting data centers.
• Strong working knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical systems supporting Data Centers.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
• Hands-on project management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project.
• Strong interpersonal skills with executive-level clients and teams.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to articulate data to client and team to achieve project goals.
• Willingness to travel 20-45%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Critical Facilities Managers and mission-critical operators while maintaining operations.
• Oversee MEP facilities management, vendor relationships, and building maintenance across a global portfolio.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and facility professionals; manage construction projects and financial performance.
• Manage team performance, facilities maintenance, and addressing issues or escalations.
• Coordinate MEP project management for office renovations and expansions with architects, space planners, and contractors.
• Oversee monthly billing and adjust services to ensure cost control and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with client contracts and KPIs; deliver exceptional service quality.
