Job summary

Clearbrook seeks a hands-on Vice President, Data & AI Strategy to operationalize the enterprise's data and AI capability. Reporting to the SVP, this role translates governance frameworks into day-to-day processes, tooling, and practice across business domains.

The VP will collaborate with data stewards, analysts, data scientists, and engineers to implement governance, integrate external data, mature master data capabilities, and keep the portfolio on schedule for leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data strategy, data governance, or a related discipline.
• 3-5+ years of people leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience delivering data governance or data management programs at enterprise scale.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or a related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement enterprise data governance framework and operating model across domains.
• Manage external data strategy, source onboarding, and provider relationships.
• Build and operate MDM capabilities and data dictionary across core domains.
• Run program management for data and AI initiatives, including planning, tracking, and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across business, IT, data engineering, analytics and data science teams.
