Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Vice President, Data & AI Strategy to operationalize the enterprise's data capability. Reporting to the SVP, this role translates strategy and governance frameworks into working processes, tooling, and day-to-day practice across business domains.

The VP will collaborate with data stewards, analysts, data scientists, and engineers to implement governance standards, onboard external data, mature master data, and keep the data & AI portfolio on

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data strategy/governance/management.
• 3–5+ years leading teams or cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience delivering governance programs at enterprise scale.
• Insurance/financial services industry preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Implement enterprise data governance framework and operating model.
• Maintain data ownership, standards, quality processes, and priorities.
• Embed governance checkpoints into workflows to avoid delivery friction.
• Drive external data strategy, intake, onboarding, and governance.
• Build and operate MDM capabilities and lifecycle processes.
• Run program management for data & AI initiatives; report risks and status.
