Job summary

State Street Corporation in Boston seeks a Vice President, Data – AI Agents to lead the data workstream for enterprise AI initiatives. You will translate AI use-case data needs into practical data solutions, govern data access, and ensure readiness before production.

You will collaborate with Business, Data, AI Engineering, Security, IAM, Risk and Governance teams to establish data quality, lineage, grounding, and provenance, while driving risk-aware data practices and production controls.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data management, data architecture, data governance, data analysis or data transformation.
• Practical experience delivering complex data initiatives within a large enterprise.
• Understanding of data lifecycle concepts, data quality, metadata, lineage and classification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data workstream delivery for AI-agent use cases from assessment through production.
• Translate requirements into data requirements, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Identify data sources and establish authoritative data sources and ownership.
• Coordinate with Data Owners/Stewards on access, usage and readiness.
• Establish data validation, testing, and operational monitoring for data in production.
