Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a VP Senior Credit Analyst for the Insurance & Specialty Finance Office in New York. The role focuses on rigorous credit analysis, counterparty risk assessment, and ongoing portfolio monitoring across Life, P&C, Reinsurance, and Insurance Brokers with cross‑border coverage including Canada and UK territories.

You will manage internal ratings, trading documentation, and credit committees while independently handling complex credit requests and negotiations.

Qualifications

7–10 years of insurance sector credit experience required.
Deep knowledge of insurance accounting and regulatory frameworks.
Strong credit metrics understanding and analytical judgment.

Responsabilités

Process credit requests to meet business deadlines.
Research and analyze financial data on insurance sector clients.
Prepare high‑quality credit applications addressing counterparty risk.
Conduct sector research covering North America to support analysis.
Recommend facilities based on size, tenor, and client suitability.
Manage counterparty ratings and trading documentation (ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, FAA).
Establish credit terms and coordinate with the legal department on negotiations.
Monitor credit quality and manage limits; track regulatory changes.
Contribute to quarterly portfolio reviews and risk committee discussions.
Coordinate with relationship managers, business lines, and risk staff; attend events and training.
