Qualifications

• 10+ years of counterparty credit risk experience with hedge funds or private equity funds.
• Deep knowledge of hedge funds and private equity strategies.
• Strong quantitative skills and experience with trading documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess creditworthiness of hedge funds and private equity funds through fund strategy and leverage analysis.
• Prepare high-quality credit approval memos and reviews.
• Approve internal counterparty ratings and limits under delegated authority.
• Conduct client due diligence calls and meetings.
• Monitor credit risk framework with exposure metrics and stress testing.
• Develop relationships with Front Office and clients and coordinate with Sales, Market Risk, Legal, Operations, and Client Integration.
• Lead or participate in firmwide projects on credit policy, systems, and regulatory responses.
• Mentor junior team members and promote analytical rigor and proactive risk management.
