Job summary

State Street is seeking a visionary Head of Corporate Functions Engineering - VP to build and lead a centralized engineering organization supporting HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Global Security, Realty, and other Corporate Functions.

You will establish a technical backbone for Corporate Functions Technology, guiding software, AI, data, quality, DevOps, and platform enablement while partnering with business-aligned tech teams to accelerate delivery and drive innovation.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in software engineering, delivery, or platform engineering.
8+ years of leadership experience managing large technical teams.
Hands-on with enterprise-scale applications and technology platforms.
Strong knowledge of cloud, AI, data, and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

Build and scale centralized engineering organization serving all Corporate Functions.
Establish technical Centers of Excellence for Engineering, AI, Data, Quality Assurance, and Production Support.
Create specialized technical SWAT Teams to accelerate initiatives and solve complex challenges.
Improve software quality, engineering productivity, operational stability, and delivery consistency.
Drive adoption of modern engineering, cloud, and AI capabilities.
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent globally.
