Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables seeks a seasoned Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across OneEnergy Inc. and project entities.

You will own the monthly close, audits, and technical GAAP accounting, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with Finance, Operations, Legal, and Development teams. The role requires building a high-performing team, driving process improvements, and scaling finance in a fast-growing renewable energy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years management experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Strong GAAP accounting knowledge and ability to apply complex GAAP rules.
• Technology-savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software implementations.
• Leadership and people management experience with coaching and development.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and external/internal reporting for OneEnergy Inc. and project-level entities.
• Lead annual financial statement audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and lenders.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting processes across entities.
• Recruit, mentor, and scale the accounting team to support growth.
• Drive improvements in systems, automation, and close-process efficiency.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax filings and compliance across states.
