Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, reporting, and controls for the corporate parent and project entities. Reporting to the CFO, you will own the close process, external audits, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Systems, Delivery, Development, and Legal.

The role demands deep GAAP expertise, Big 4 background preferred, and a track record of leading teams through growth.

Qualifications

Active CPA license required.
10+ years accounting experience with 5+ in management.
Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to apply complex rules.
Experience with multi-entity consolidations and joint ventures.
Technology savvy with software implementations and vendor management.
Leadership experience coaching and developing teams.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment on complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and all external and internal financial reporting for OneEnergy Inc. and its project-level subsidiaries and SPEs.
Lead audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and lenders on financial reporting.
Refine and maintain strong internal controls and processes across entities.
Recruit, mentor, and scale the accounting team in line with growth.
Drive automation and scalable processes for close and reporting.
Ensure tax filings compliance across states and coordinates with tax advisors.
Oversee cross-functional implications of new entities and contracts.
Manage banking, payroll, and vendor relationships for accounting systems.
