Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Senior Accountant to own critical day-to-day accounting in support of rapid growth across solar and battery projects. You will drive GAAP-compliant asset purchases, depreciation, CIP, intercompany activity, and revenue recognition for energy generation and PPAs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Accounting Manager, cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years total accounting experience (public and industry preferred).
• Experience in financial services industry with exposure to complex entity structures and investment relationships.
• Understanding of GAAP and management accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Dive into Renewable Energy and Tax Equity accounting.
• Account for asset purchases and depreciation under GAAP.
• Reconcile energy generation revenue and PPA revenue.
• Build and maintain CIP schedules and project cost reviews.
• Record monthly close and assist audits.
• Intercompany and debt accounting support.
• Jump into ad hoc analysis and projects as they come up.
