Job summary

BMO Harris Bank is seeking a senior corporate lender to originate and structure complex lending transactions for Sponsor and Non-Sponsor clients in New York. You will coordinate with product partners and manage a diverse portfolio, providing lending expertise across leveraged buyouts, M&A financings, and refinancings.

Applicants should have extensive experience in investment banking or corporate banking, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and a track record of delivering cross-sell

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate banking, sponsor finance, or commercial lending.
• Experience originating, underwriting, structuring, and negotiating complex financial transactions is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting Sponsor-backed LBOs, M&A financings, dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, and acquisition financings.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure corporate lending transactions for Sponsor & Non Sponsor clients.
• Coordinate with product teams to deliver integrated lending solutions.
• Prepare credit documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio of diverse clients with advisory and cross-sell opportunities.
• Monitor risk and client performance, and update financial analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with sector coverage partners to provide timely solutions.
