Saul Centers, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead financial accounting and reporting. The role includes preparing monthly statements, Form 10-Q/10-K, and ensuring internal controls and policy compliance.

The successful candidate will manage accounting staff, provide management reporting support, and stay current on evolving US GAAP standards, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 10–15 years of accounting experience with 5 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, train and develop the accounting staff.
• Provide accounting support to the management team and billing support for tenants.
• Analyze monthly property operating statements and explain variances.
• Ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports are prepared in conformance with US GAAP.
• Review cash flow forecasts for monthly management reporting and improve processes.
• Stay current on US GAAP changes and assess impact on the company.
• Review accounts receivable and the provision for doubtful accounts.
