Ballston Spa National Bank is seeking a VP, Commercial Relationship Manager to expand our commercial portfolio in the Capital Region. You will manage relationships with C&I clients, analyze financials, and structure loan terms while guiding credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial lending with credit risk assessment and loan structuring.
• Track record of prospecting new business and expanding relationships.
• Strong negotiating, sales and relationship-building skills with credit/financial analysis.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Membership in civic and professional organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships and analyze clients' financial strategies.
• Recommend loans and banking products with focus on C&I relationships.
• Grow a commercial portfolio by building new relationships and meeting sales targets.
• Gather financial data and explain bank products/services to clients.
• Coordinate financial analyses to support credit decisions and loan decisions.
• Provide input on loan decisions based on credit risk and other factors.
