Job summary

PlayOn seeks a strategic, hands-on VP of Cloud Operations to unify Cloud Engineering, SRE, and DevOps under one leadership. You will own platform reliability, scale, and cost governance for our cloud-native stack on AWS, spanning NFHS Network, GoFan, MaxPreps, and PlayOn HQ.

Reporting to the CTO, you will stand up a single Cloud Infrastructure organization, define SLOs/SLIs, drive IaC adoption with Terraform and Kubernetes, and lead a FinOps program to optimize cloud spend while maintaining

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary cloud teams.
• Hands-on AWS production experience at scale.
• Strong governance on SLOs, incident response, and FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate Cloud Eng, SRE, and DevOps into a single org.
• Own cloud architecture strategy across AWS accounts.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and incident response processes.
• Lead FinOps program and cost governance.
