Job summary

Matrix42 is seeking a VP Cloud to drive the cloud platform strategy across core, pro, and enterprise products. You will lead cloud operations, architecture collaboration, reliability initiatives, and governance to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years progressive IT leadership experience.
• 8+ years leading enterprise cloud operations or infrastructure teams.
• Deep experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infra, Kubernetes, DevOps, IaC, CI/CD, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise cloud operations strategy.
• Lead 24x7 cloud operations across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Establish standards for availability, resiliency, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive automation and self-healing capabilities.
• Participate in cloud architecture reviews and planning.
• Evaluate architectures for operational readiness, scalability, and recoverability.
• Provide operational guidance for production deployments.
• Champion observability, automation, and fault tolerance.
• Oversee compute, storage, networking, identity and Kubernetes.
• Partner with FinOps to optimize cloud costs.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and mentor cloud operations teams.
