Job summary

PRECISION AQ is seeking an Associate Vice President, Clinical Services to lead clinical content development and provide strategic direction across the market access practice. Responsibility includes mentoring teams, ensuring content standards, and contributing to business development and client strategy.

The role requires deep knowledge of pharma, managed markets, and marketing strategies, with leadership across multiple large accounts and an emphasis on collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences required.
• BA/BS in English with pharma agency experience required or preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.
• Experience in managed markets promotional content development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple large books of business (5–7 accounts) in Clinical Services.
• Lead department initiatives such as onboarding, student recruitment, or innovation.
• Mediate escalated issues between internal and external stakeholders in a solutions-oriented manner.
• Act as medical lead for brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans for accounts and new business opportunities.
• Demonstrate understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer, managed markets, and marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain account-specific Clinical Services SOPs; conduct training as needed.
• Plan resources across accounts and workstreams with internal stakeholders."
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to team members and track development plans.
• Supervise 6+ Clinical Services staff including a Senior Medical Director or 2+ Medical Directors.
• Promote PRECISION Principles in daily work.
