Cathay Bank in Los Angeles seeks an AVP/VP, Client Service Manager to build and manage relationships with commercial clients, delivering outstanding service and coordinating cross-divisional solutions.

You will onboard new clients, support deposits, treasury, wealth and international products, mentor team members, and drive client satisfaction while ensuring risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• College degree in business-related discipline preferred but not required.
• 3-5 or more years in a mid-size/large lending institution in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Windows-based apps; CRM and lending systems knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactions and approvals with focus on efficiency and due diligence.
• Retain and grow relationships as primary client contact for service-related matters.
• Onboard new clients and implement products and services with Relationship Managers.
• Cross-sell and coordinate deposits, treasury, wealth, and international products.
• Proactively manage complex client servicing needs with prompt follow-up.
• Resolve client concerns and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Maintain client data integrity in all bank files and systems.
• Mentor new team members and direct reports.
• Lead or participate in divisional projects and initiatives.
